Privacy Policy

MoUtils is built to prioritize your privacy. Read below to understand exactly what runs offline on your device and what telemetry is collected.

1. Offline-First Commitment

The core value of MoUtils is local execution. All of the following operations are performed entirely on your physical device, without sending your data to any remote servers:

  • Local AI Models: All text, vision, and audio models run locally via flutter_gemma and LiteRT/MediaPipe. Your prompts, responses, and processed files never leave your device.
  • Developer Tools: Utilities such as the PDF Merger/Splitter, Local Network Scanner, Port Scanner, Ping Tool, and others process all information strictly on-device.
  • Local Agent: The autonomous agent executes and sandboxes paths entirely locally on your machine.

2. Telemetry and Analytics (Sentry)

To help us debug crashes, monitor performance, and improve stability, MoUtils utilizes Sentry telemetry. Our configuration is explicitly set as follows:

  • No Default PII: Personally Identifiable Information (such as IP addresses, usernames, email addresses, or database credentials) is excluded. We explicitly configure sendDefaultPii = false.
  • Performance Traces: We collect 100% of performance traces (tracesSampleRate = 1.0) and 100% of profiling data (profilesSampleRate = 1.0) to analyze app lag, startup times, and system resource utilization.
  • Session Replays: To understand user flow and debug complex layout or interaction issues, 10% of standard user sessions are randomly selected for session replay (sessionSampleRate = 0.1).
  • Error Session Replays: If the application encounters an error or crash, a session replay of that specific error sequence is captured at a 100% rate (onErrorSampleRate = 1.0) to help us pinpoint the bug.

All telemetry data is transmitted to Sentry's secure servers. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with third parties.

3. Third-Party Services and Stores

When you download MoUtils from Google Play or the Apple App Store, those platforms collect their own analytics, device info, and transaction information in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

4. Changes to This Policy

As the application evolves or configuration settings are updated, this Privacy Policy will be revised. Any telemetry modifications in the codebase will be immediately reflected here.
